Winter in Riscone offers multiple possibilities for sports activities:

Skiing on the top of the Plan de Corones - Kronplatz:
Spend your winter holiday in our house next to the bottom of the lift and so close to the pistes. Riscone - Reischach offers diverse leisure activities in winter Cable car in Reischach . Plan de Corones – ski-area nr. 1 in Southtirol! 31 lifts and 104 kilometres of best pistes. The Plan de Corones is 2.273 metres high. It is unique since it offers the full 360° panorama of the surrounding mountains. Fantastic views of the Dolomite Mountains to the south and the Zillertaler Mountains to the north. Altogether there are 31 lifts, 17 of them are cabins and 14 comfortable new chair lifts. These make sure there is no waiting about and time is spent skiing and not queuing. The red, blue and black pistes ensure that there is the right degree of difficulty for everyone. Choose between the runs down to Valdaora or down to San Vigilio or down to the Furcia and on to San Martino – Pikolein, or down to Riscone.

From the car-park in Riscone there are two cabin lifts and there are two pistes, each 5 km long back down again: the Silvester and Hernegg.
The new ski-area for children, with its cabin lift “Korer Express” is also situated at the main car-park – most convenient for beginners.

arding house is situated just 100 metres from the bottom of the lifts. The ski-hire and service-shops, as well as the ski schools, ski kindergarten, restaurants, pizzerias, cafés are also to be found here.

Each Christmas Bruneck has a big Christmas market. It is great fun wondering through it amongst the Christmas trees and fairy lights. All sorts of local specialities await you.
From the winter on, it’s possible to join the lifts that make up the Sellaronda. A cabin lift goes over to Alta Badia and a new steep piste (black) has been created. At the moment a bus-service (every 20 mins) is included.

Other sports:
In winter there is skiing, off-piste skiing, cross-country skiing, tobogganing, skating and hiking tours on snow shoes.
